First time having my own kiln and I am very glad I decided on a Phoenix 38. The firing chamber is taller than other small kilns I looked at and the square outer dimensions work well for the small space I have to keep it in. Witness cones are telling me the temperatures are spot on and my firings are turning out well. Took me a couple of tries to get the hang of the controller (YouTube to the rescue) but I feel very confident with my whole set up now. Definitely would recommend the Phoenix.
